Hello,
As I’m sure you’ve realized by now, my name is Tom Bavaria.
I am a recent graduate of the Drexel University College of Medicine where I earned a Master of Science in Biomedicine and Digital Media in 2019. I am looking to utilize my new set of skills to help make a difference in the ever-growing intersection of biomedicine and technology in the world today. Prior to this, I worked fulltime as a combined Data Analyst and Research Coordinator for the University of Pennsylvania and their associated Health System for almost 6 years. I earned my undergraduate degree in Physiology from Georgetown University in 2012 after I had been working part-time for the aforementioned hospital system starting as early as 2007.
I have well over 12 years of combined experience in the biomedical field including regulatory compliance, drug and device trials, working with veteran’s affairs, project management, and even some wet lab experience. I am great at both managing small teams as well as working autonomously. In my experience, I have found effective communication, fiscal responsibility, and an appropriate work-life balance to be tantamount to the success of any team or company. I prefer strong positions where my expertise and skills can be applied in a practical and directed manner.
In the little spare time I do have, I enjoy being both creative and active, as well as spending as much time outdoors as possible. Skiing and baseball are two of my top hobbies, but I also love creating music and writing fiction as well. Aside from that, my soul has a bit of a penchant for travel and theater too. Thank you for taking the time to view my website! I hope to hear from you soon.
